VANILA ICE CREAM

Summers have arrived.No one is seen wandering in the street.Due to the extreme of hot weather everyone wants to stay at home but it is very difficult for us to stay at home without special chilled  dishes especially for kids.So I think ice cream is the best chilled dish for anyone who wants to stay at home.I still remember when we were kids and used to buy ice cream from street hawker every day.It gives me immense happiness while I recall those days.Actually children are very fond of ice cream and they always insist their mothers to make ice cream for them.There are many flavour of ice cream but Vanila ice cream is everyone,s favourite.My this recipe is dedicated to all the children of the world.Now you do not need to go to the market for buying  ice cream as you can make it at your own house.Let the street hawker go.I will tell you how vanilla ice cream is made.




Preparation time=10 minutes and freezing time 6 to 7 hours.


Ingredients for making Vanila Ice cream.

Full fat cream=2 cups.
Milk(full fat)=1 1/4 cup.
Condensed milk=2 cups.
Vanila essence or extract=2 tea spoons.
Corn starch=1tbsp.
Sugar =1/4 cup.
Dry fruits of your choice(optional)

Method for making Vanila Ice cream.

Step 1

Take a small bowl and pour 1tbsp of milk into this bowl and add corn flour or corn starch,mix it well.Leave it for few seconds.

Step 2

Take a pan and pour remaining milk(1 cup) into this pan.Let the milk boil.Add corn starch mixture milk.Reduce the gas to low flame. Stir it very carefully for 2 to 4 minutes.Your milk consistency would be thick after adding  the mixture of milk powder and corn starch.Let this mixture cool down.In the meantime get ready to perform next step.

Step 3

Take a large bowl for whipping the cream.Add full fat cream.With the help of hand blender or electronic hand blender whip the cream for two minutes.Blend the cream very gently so that it does not get converted into butter.You can also perform this process with the whisk.

Step 4


Add condensed milk. At this time you need to perform this action by using spatula. Add sugar and vanilla extract. Whisk it for few seconds.

Step 5

Mix all the ingredients together as corn starch added milk,cream and condensed milk mixture.

Step 6

Take  an  air tight container or you may use any container of your choice but in my point of view air tight is good for freezing the ice cream. Pour all these materials into this container and mix it well to set the ice cream mixture.

Step 7

Keep this container in the freezer. After 2 hours take out the ice cream container and again stir or whisk with the help of blender or whisk. After 1 hour or two hour perform this action again to prevent the ice crystal formation in ice cream  container.

Step 8

Keep  the ice cream container in a freezer for 6 to 7 hours. After 6 to 7 hours your ice cream is ready to eat. Garnish it with dry fruits of your choice. Actually it is very tasty without dry fruits.
