Nimbu Masala Soda

Nimbu Masala soda is a  very tasty and healthy summer special drink.It is a common street food beverage served in every corner of India during summer.It is a very healthy and yummy home made cold drink.It takes less time to prepare.It is one of the most popular drinks,liked by everyone.This drink includes fresh mint leaves,ginger,black pepper,roasted cumin powder,chat masala,black salt,lemon juice and sugar.Being a energy drink,It is also helpful to get rid of tiredness in summer.
Whenever I visit to shopping during summer with my family,I never miss this yummy drink by street vendors.Although they have different way of making the nimboo masala soda.
You can adjust the quantity of spices as per your taste.If you like less spicy food, reduce the quantity of spices,as shown in video and written in this post. 


Ingredients for Nimbu Masala Soda

  • Fresh mint leaves handful
  • Ginger 1/4inch
  • Water 2tbsp
  • Lemon juice 2tbsp
  • Sugar 2tbsp
  • Black pepper 1/4tsp
  • Roasted cumin powder 1/4tsp
  • Chat Masala 3/4tsp
  • Black salt 1/4tsp
  • Ice cubes 
  • Mint leaves for garnish
  • Lemon wedges for garnish
  • Soda water 1 glass
Method
Step1
In a blender jar, add handful mint leaves,ginger and water.
Step2
Grind to fine paste.
Step3
In a serving glass,strain the mint ginger paste.
Step4
Add lemon juice,sugar,black pepper,roasted cumin powder,chat masala,black salt and ice cubes.
Step5
Cover with any lid and shake well until all spices are mixed.
Step6
Add few mint leaves and lemon wedges for garnish.
Step7
Now add chilled soda water in a serving glass and stir with spoon for few seconds.
Your Nimbu Masala Soda is ready to serve.
