I usually make this yummy recipe in winters on small parties for guests in dinner or lunch.You can give these delicious and healthy rice to your kids in lunch boxes.In this recipe I have used fresh boiled rice but you may use leftover boiled rice for making burnt garlic fried rice.Remember that all Chinese foods are cooked on high flame in wok.So always prefer to cook all Chinese food on high flame.while frying the garlic and adding the spices,keep the flame to low.
Required Ingredients
- Rice boiled 250gm
- Onion 1(chopped)
- Spring onion(chopped)2small bowls
- Garlic(chopped)2tbsp
- Ginger 1/2inch(chopped)
- Soya sauce 1tbsp
- Chilly sauce 2tbsp
- Vinegar 2tbsp
- Black pepper 1/2tsp
- Chilly flakes 1/4tsp
- Capsicum(small chopped) 1
- Beans 50gm(small chopped)
- Cabbage 100gm(shredded)
- Carrots 2-3(thinly sliced)
- Salt to taste
- Spring onion green part for garnishing
Method
Step1
In a wok or any pan on high flame add oil.Allow the oil to heat,add chopped garic.Keep the flame low at this time.Saute on low flame till they turn golden brown or slightly burnt.Add onion followed by spring onion and green chilies.Saute for 2 minutes.
Step2
Add thinly sliced vegetables as beans,carrot,cabbage,capsicum.Stir for 2-3 minutes.Do not cook the vegetables,only saute.
Step3
Add boiled or leftover rice along with salt,black pepper,chilly flakes.Mix all the ingredients very well.Avoid break the rice.
Step4
Garnish the burnt vegetable rice with spring onion(green part).Give it a nice mix.Burnt Garlic fried rice is ready to serve.
